5 Secrets: How to Reach Your Goals

We all do have aims or goals in life and for that we set certain steps or strategy to achieve them. But many of us encounter with failure or give up before touching the desired milestone. Why is that so? Recently, I came across a discussion about winners and losers. Evaluating the aspects of losers, the discussion came to conclusion that there are certain factors which when discovered can empower effectively to achieve ones desired goals in life. Here are the 5 Secrets on How to Reach Your Goals successfully. It will allow you to create a positive and lasting effect that you desire in your life.

The 5 Secrets of Reaching Your Goals

  • Evaluate your Motives
Having a clear understanding of your own motivation is a critical element of succeeding in accomplishing your desired outcomes. Spend time and figure out what’s important to you about these goals? What it is that getting these goals is going to allow you to do? Find out what your own internal driving force is and then bring it to mind every time you need a boost of motivation. This is an effective way of keeping you on the pathway to success.

  • Sketch your plan
Write down on paper what your goals are. Just keeping them in your head, means that they stay as a bit of a day dream. Writing them down gives them physical form and something that you can refer to. Having written down your goals, this will give you clarity around what your targets and outcomes are. Pay attention to the sensory based information within your goals. In your mind you may discover that you have a “mind picture” of what you want to be like, for example, if your goal is Weight Loss then how your body is going to look, the compliments that other people are going to give to you, how amazing you are going to feel etc. etc.. All the information that is wrapped up in that “mind picture” will help you to throw a positive image that you can focus on.

  • Focus, Focus & Focus
Focus is everything! You have to train yourself to Focus on What You Want! Keep your thought, your actions and your words aligned to the exact things that you want to achieve. You’ve heard of will power. Most people don’t exercise their will power these days. They give in too easy. Stay strong, stay positive and refocus on all that you want to achieve.

  • It’s Action time NOW
You must take action! Lots of people talks a good game but when it comes down to it, many disappears. So, to get the results you want, you have to do something about it. If you are going to do something, then you may as well do it well. So go for it! Commit to your goals and give it 100%.

  • Take responsibility for your failure(s)
Too many people abdicate accountability for their results onto other people or situations or organisations. That may be reasonable sometimes but it leaves the person in a position where they have essentially given away their own personal power to someone or something else. Ultimately, the person is then not in control of their results. So it’s important that YOU take responsibility for your results and that you tune into what’s going on for you. You must pay attention to the feedback you are getting and keep doing the things that are working well for you and make adjustments where appropriate to keep you on the right track so that you get to your goals.

How To Win Your Foes And Earn Respect:

A nice quote says-
"If you understand both your foes and yourself, you will not be imperiled in a hundred assaults; but if you do not know your foes neither yourself, you will be imperiled in every lone assault"
No one of us are born knowing how to propel. It's likely not unusual to seem like you've not ever been educated rather how to steer a human life competently, but it may be odd to admit.

Benjamin Franklin once said- "You should love your foes, for they notify you of your faults". Our loved ones and contacts generally won't notify us our obvious errors, and yet, this is what we need to be working on to advance us. Perhaps not considered one of the foremost of philosophical minds, but I believe Stephen monarch put it well, "Only foes speak the reality; associates and lovers lie endlessly, apprehended in the web of duty".

Let's know few effective tactics on how to win the heart of your enemies and gain respect. Remember, these tactics had been used by many great persons in history.

Be Wise:

Rather than trying to be flawless each day, recall that there are courses you should learn that can only be wise in the crucible of adversity, pain, and difficulty. Of course, it is easier to converse about this abstractly. It is much harder to love our enemies on a daily basis. We are to love those who despite fully use us and abuse us and victimize us again and again. It's not very simple to do this in any case, but it is much harder to love when we seem profoundly and frequently contravened and our believe has been decimated.

Welcome your foes:

One part of adoring our foes is to welcome them graciously when we see them. Occasionally (often, perhaps) rather than of turning the other impertinence, we turn away so we won't have to say hello to somebody who has hurt us. Some of us have been quite adept at looking the other way, ducking into a room, crossing the road, or even using Caller ID to keep from welcome those who have hurt us. But if we only welcome our associates, what benefit is that? Do not even sinners greet each other? One part of loving your enemies is to greet them rather than of bypassing them. You can disarm your enemies by doing the very thing they least anticipate. You do it by speaking well of them when no one expects it.

Don't depart chances to do good to your foes:

Doing good to your enemies means seeing beyond your agony and their meanness to their humanity. "Doing good" means that you do what will promote their healing despite the way they have treated you. The concept is, you make the first move. You drive the e-mail. You pick up the phone. You make the communication. You bridge the gap. You set up the appointment. Be kind to them. Display them you don't desire to go under to the foul grade that they're on. I just signify talk to them with respect, just not like you would talk to a factual friend. Offer to help but don't be exceedingly friendly, or else they will think you are a looser.

Stand Up for yourself:

How do you think persons contend in life? They stand up for themselves. If you don't stand up for yourself, as an adult you won't be adept to take an abuse. Show them that they have no right to heal your day the identical way that they are treating you. For to win one hundred victories in one hundred assaults is not the acme of ability. To subdue the foe without fighting is the acme of ability. What the ancients called a quick-witted combatant is one who not only wins, but excels in victorious with alleviate.

There are furthermore some fundamental methods in handling people. First principle is not to criticize, accuse, or complain. Second principle is to give dependable and sincere appreciation, and the third one is to arouse in the other individual an eager desire. Albert Einstein said that "A man should look for what is, and not for what he thinks should be".

If you think you're a great guy and that everyone loves you, I'm telling you that you have foes. Every person has foes. Strategy without tactics is the slowest path to triumph. On the other hand, tactics without strategy is the noise before defeat. The basic difference between happy persons and miserable persons is that the happy persons concern themselves with what they can do on their end. Sad person concern themselves with everything else.

To your success...
Jennifer

5 Usefull Tips For Better Online Banking

Banking has never been easier than it is today. Online banking allows you to access your bank at any time of day or night and from anywhere provided you have an internet connection. And if you choose to do it that way, it’s just as well there are no lines to wait in for online banks. Moreover, the interest rates you get are higher and the fees are lower than traditional bank branches. But as the online banking users are growing, so are the cases of frauds. If you don't know how to do online banking securely, you may easily get trapped in the hands of phishers who can steal your valuable information and empty your account.

So, if you are considering to do online banking or even doing it, here are few tips how to do it securely.

1. Probably the first thing to consider with online banking is the convenience. You can access your bank via the Internet from anywhere and anytime. But, be extremely cautious or alert while accessing your bank's URL. Also make sure to register your mobile number for updates and for further authentication. Now a days banks are using additional security steps on online transactions using OTP (One Time Password) which is a secure method. Never reveal your OTP to anyone.

2. Transaction performed online are generally much cheaper than those done over the counter at a bank branch. You can pay bills, transfer cash, check balances, and much more for much less. While doing so, don't forget to note the transaction number and save the confirmation reciept.

3. Your computer has convenient ways to help you remember your login details. But don’t use the “remember my password” option if your computer suggests it. Keep your bank login details very safe and very secret. Most online banks will allow you change your password. This is a very good idea and something you should do regularly. Of course, you must also remember your new password each time it is changed.

4. Logging on to your online bank is easy and very convenient. But after you have completed your business, remember to log out of your online bank again. This is especially important if you access your bank from a library, at work, or in a cyber café. Moreover, while using a public computer for login make sure to use the virtual keyboard in the login page.

5. Enjoy your online banking, but beware of any email you receive asking you to verify your bank details by clicking a link. The site may look authentic, but it will probably be a fake. While accessing your online bank site, make sure it is secure and starts with HTTPS. Moreover, respectable banks don’t ask anyone to verify details by email or by phone.

Be alert, be secure, live happy.

Find Your True Style

Find Your True Style
By Judith A Mercer

Understanding your style or wardrobe personality goes a long way to helping you feel good about yourself as it reflects the person you really are - your true self. See if you can spot yourself amongst these 5 wardrobe personalities.

Romantics like to express themselves through their clothing, to reflect their femininity or artistic / creative talents. They love fabrics with 'feel appeal' - velvet, cashmere, silk and satin as well as floral patterns and pretty details on clothing. Their accessories are often delicate and pretty, perhaps sparkly too.

Top tip: Romantics often have significantly more accessories than most, so a bit of organisation would help - hanging jewellery on pretty stands on a dressing table or inside wardrobe doors, putting shoes in clear boxes. Good planning for each new season is essential if on a budget.

The Classic woman loves tailored clothes in good quality fabrics. They are always well co-ordinated with accessories to complement each outfit. They don't like to stand out in a crowd, preferring to blend into the background, choosing timeless elegant styles in subdued shades. Their hair is always neatly styled and they prefer minimal but well applied make-up, giving a polished look.

Top tip: Classics need to be careful not to get into a rut with their wardrobe. It's advisable to check out new brands and different shops to avoid looking old fashioned or frumpy. Casual dressing can prove to be a challenge - a good approach is to choose simple structures and styles in less formal fabrics.

A Dramatic personality has a strong, self-assured air. She likes to be noticed, choosing quirky, unusual clothing with bold prints and bright colours. She loves dramatic proportions - short jackets with wide leg trousers or a coat that reaches the floor. She wears chunky, elaborate or ornate jewellery and her shoes and handbags make a statement.

Top tip: Dramatics need to make sure the strong colours they love are flattering for their skin tone. They need to bear in mind that other people may find their bold style a little over the top, perhaps even intimidating - a warm smile can really help.

Naturals have a relaxed easy-going approach to life. They will be drawn to easy care clothing that needs little or no ironing. They don't really think much about how they look, just as long as they're comfortable, and are unlikely to be interested in fashion. Make-up and jewellery are probably only worn for special occasions.

Top tip: Naturals can find formal situations a bit of a challenge - it's a good idea to shop for a small selection of smart clothes for such occasions. Making sure clothes are clean and pressed can help a natural to avoid looking scruffy. The services of a personal shopper might be helpful.

The Gamine woman has a neat body with a small frame, coupled with a lively nature and boundless energy. No matter what her age, she always appears youthful. She will tend to opt for a casual, sporty look with a fun twist, but always well groomed. A short, urchin hairstyle is a common choice for Gamines.

Top tip: Smaller scale prints and fitted clothing will be more flattering for a small frame - loose baggy clothes and large patterns will drown a gamine. Neutrals are often a staple, so adding colour can avoid looking a bit drab.

Did one of these descriptions resonate with you, or did you feel you were a mixture of more than one? Well, that's very common, after all each one of us is unique and wouldn't want to be given a label, but perhaps you picked up on certain characteristics that ring true for you.

So, here's a challenge for you - open your wardrobe and see if you have a clear style personality from the fabrics, colours and styles that greet you. How much of your wardrobe fits with your true style - 20% - 50% - 80%? If it's below 50% you probably struggle with what to wear on a daily basis. Nearer 80%? Well done, you clearly have a good sense of your personal style.

Dieting: Is it good for you?

As we start seeing ourself fat and obese, we think of dieting at first place and start adopting very less food eating practices. Many girls start this practice at early age to avoid being over weight in future. Today, dieting has become a fashion for them. But how many of us know that dieting itself is a reason for rising obesity trend. Moreover, dieting can be harmful in many ways, specially to women's look.

According to USDA, dieting should not be just eating salads or drinking juices, but should consists of eating proportionate amounts of grains, fruits, vegetables, meat and beans, calcium-retaining dairy products and unsaturated oils.

That's why a person on dieting should be very careful on how to diet. Sudden food-intake reduction and rapid weight loss can have many side effects such as hairfall, calcium deficiency,  Irritability, Depression, Kidney disease, Muscle atrophy,  Bloodshot eyes, Reduced sex drive , Prolonged hunger and most importantly Subsequent weight gain.

Hair Fall
If you eat less or no calorie foods it is certain that you will face some health problems. One such is hair fall. Normally, you have deficiency of vitamins, minerals and proteins when you are under dieting and it may be severe if you do not follow a proper guideline. Similarly, deficiency of iron may lead to low oxygen flow in blood which in turn can damage hair follicles  Hair follicles have phases. If you do intense dieting, the hair follicles after resting phase will not get proper nutrition and you may experience severe hair fall.

Deficiency of Calcium
Calcium is a must for our bones health. As we grow older, the bone-marrow begins to destroy. But if you eat nutritious foods daily, then the process becomes slower. For a woman up to 33 yrs, her bones remain healthy. After that, the marrow density begins to decrease. Normally we need 800mg of calcium daily from our food. So, be careful while choosing your diet plan.

Moreover, absorption of calcium is also important for well being of bone. For this you need to eat unsaturated fats, green veggies, chocolates, coco etc. Unsaturated fats such as olive oil do not have cholesterol.

In 2002, American Journal of Kidney diseases has studied ten subjects consuming low carbohydrate high protein (LCHP) diet and concluded that- " Consumption of an LCHP diet for 6 weeks delivers a marked acid load to the kidney, increases the risk for stone formation, decreases estimated calcium balance, and may increase the risk for bone loss".

Wrinkles on skin
Female skins aged between 20-30 years is very elastic. Due to excessive dieting or sudden weight loss the skin may tend to lose its elasticity. For a beautiful, wrinkle free skin, our food must contain calories. Experts says, eating less calorie foods during daytime may make you slim, but at the same time you may experience dehydration resulting dry skin. Because, salt and carbohydrates in calorie rich foods help to hold water in cells.

Subsequent weight gain
Many studies revealed that diets that focus solely on sudden weight loss may lead to gaining the weight back again even adding more pounds. It is referred as "dieting-induced weight-gain".
Diet-cycle showing dieting-induced weight gain

Biologically, when you diet, your body experiences the dieting process as a form of starvation. Your cells don’t know you are voluntarily restricting your food intake. Then the body shifts into primal survival mode where metabolism slows down and food cravings escalate. When you lost weight substantially you stop dieting and begin to eat again those foods that you left. Actually, dieting disconnects you from your innate hunger and satiety cues, and it becomes easier to eat in the absence of hunger and develop a mistrust of your biological eating cues.

Should you stop dieting, then?

No, absolutely not. My objective of this post is to point out the consequences of wrong dieting habits. Dieting should not be a fasting for days or not eating fat less or protein less foods. It should be a change of your eating habits from processed and oily junk foods to a complete balanced food habit for rest of your life and avoiding over-eating.

Quick weight-loss diets and fad diets often do not teach you how to lead a lifestyle or maintain the weight loss after you have worked so hard to achieve it.
