5 Usefull Tips For Better Online Banking

Banking has never been easier than it is today. Online banking allows you to access your bank at any time of day or night and from anywhere provided you have an internet connection. And if you choose to do it that way, it’s just as well there are no lines to wait in for online banks. Moreover, the interest rates you get are higher and the fees are lower than traditional bank branches. But as the online banking users are growing, so are the cases of frauds. If you don't know how to do online banking securely, you may easily get trapped in the hands of phishers who can steal your valuable information and empty your account.

So, if you are considering to do online banking or even doing it, here are few tips how to do it securely.

1. Probably the first thing to consider with online banking is the convenience. You can access your bank via the Internet from anywhere and anytime. But, be extremely cautious or alert while accessing your bank's URL. Also make sure to register your mobile number for updates and for further authentication. Now a days banks are using additional security steps on online transactions using OTP (One Time Password) which is a secure method. Never reveal your OTP to anyone.

2. Transaction performed online are generally much cheaper than those done over the counter at a bank branch. You can pay bills, transfer cash, check balances, and much more for much less. While doing so, don't forget to note the transaction number and save the confirmation reciept. 

3. Your computer has convenient ways to help you remember your login details. But don’t use the “remember my password” option if your computer suggests it. Keep your bank login details very safe and very secret. Most online banks will allow you change your password. This is a very good idea and something you should do regularly. Of course, you must also remember your new password each time it is changed.

4. Logging on to your online bank is easy and very convenient. But after you have completed your business, remember to log out of your online bank again. This is especially important if you access your bank from a library, at work, or in a cyber café. Moreover, while using a public computer for login make sure to use the virtual keyboard in the login page.

5. Enjoy your online banking, but beware of any email you receive asking you to verify your bank details by clicking a link. The site may look authentic, but it will probably be a fake. While accessing your online bank site, make sure it is secure and starts with HTTPS. Moreover, respectable banks don’t ask anyone to verify details by email or by phone.

The Classic woman loves tailored clothes in good quality fabrics. They are always well co-ordinated with accessories to complement each outfit. They don't like to stand out in a crowd, preferring to blend into the background, choosing timeless elegant styles in subdued shades. Their hair is always neatly styled and they prefer minimal but well applied make-up, giving a polished look.

Top tip: Classics need to be careful not to get into a rut with their wardrobe. It's advisable to check out new brands and different shops to avoid looking old fashioned or frumpy. Casual dressing can prove to be a challenge - a good approach is to choose simple structures and styles in less formal fabrics.

A Dramatic personality has a strong, self-assured air. She likes to be noticed, choosing quirky, unusual clothing with bold prints and bright colours. She loves dramatic proportions - short jackets with wide leg trousers or a coat that reaches the floor. She wears chunky, elaborate or ornate jewellery and her shoes and handbags make a statement.

Top tip: Dramatics need to make sure the strong colours they love are flattering for their skin tone. They need to bear in mind that other people may find their bold style a little over the top, perhaps even intimidating - a warm smile can really help.

Naturals have a relaxed easy-going approach to life. They will be drawn to easy care clothing that needs little or no ironing. They don't really think much about how they look, just as long as they're comfortable, and are unlikely to be interested in fashion. Make-up and jewellery are probably only worn for special occasions.

Top tip: Naturals can find formal situations a bit of a challenge - it's a good idea to shop for a small selection of smart clothes for such occasions. Making sure clothes are clean and pressed can help a natural to avoid looking scruffy. The services of a personal shopper might be helpful.

The Gamine woman has a neat body with a small frame, coupled with a lively nature and boundless energy. No matter what her age, she always appears youthful. She will tend to opt for a casual, sporty look with a fun twist, but always well groomed. A short, urchin hairstyle is a common choice for Gamines.

Top tip: Smaller scale prints and fitted clothing will be more flattering for a small frame - loose baggy clothes and large patterns will drown a gamine. Neutrals are often a staple, so adding colour can avoid looking a bit drab.
